MCSA- What is RAID


RAID



 RAID (Redundant Array Independent Disk) is a Hard disk configuration . It is mainly used in server PC where data consistency and fault tolerance is required. First you have to change your hard disk type from basic to dynamic . After this you can create RAID  partitions from Disk Management .

1- Simple volume
2- Spanned volume
3- Stripped volume
4- Mirrored volume  ( fault tolerance)
5- RAID- 5      ( fault tolerance )
